About Me

Mathew Stuckey at the Longevity Formulas office

My name is Mathew Stuckey, and I’m the founder of Longevity Formulas.

I’ve spent many years in the longevity and human performance space, researching the science around cellular ageing, NAD⁺ metabolism, mitochondrial health, and evidence-based supplementation. My work mostly focuses on translating complex longevity research into clear, practical, and responsible educational content for everyday people interested in the same things as me, but perhaps don't have the time or knowledge to interpret certain data.

I am not a medical doctor, I want to be clear on this. My background is rooted in hands-on research review, supplement formulation, and long-term engagement with the longevity community, rather than clinical practice.

My Background in Longevity

My interest in longevity began through a combination of personal research, long-term study of scientific literature, and active participation in the global longevity community.

Over the years, I have:

  • Studied hundreds of peer-reviewed papers related to aging biology, NAD⁺ pathways, and metabolic health
  • Followed the work of leading longevity researchers and institutions
  • Analysed emerging supplement ingredients and formulation strategies
  • Created educational longevity content on YouTube, breaking down research, mechanisms, benefits, and limitations in an accessible way
  • Worked directly on supplement formulation decisions, including ingredient selection, dosing rationale, and manufacturing standards

This experience has shaped how I approach longevity: curiosity-driven, evidence-aware, and conservative with claims.

Why I Created Longevity Formulas

Longevity Formulas was created in response to a growing problem I saw in the supplement industry:

  1. Over-hyped claims
  2. Poor transparency around ingredients and dosing
  3. Marketing-led products disconnected from real research
  4. Confusion for consumers trying to navigate complex longevity science

My goal with Longevity Formulas is not to promise outcomes or sell “miracles,” but to:

  • Create transparent, clearly formulated supplements
  • Share educational content grounded in current research
  • Clearly communicate what is known, what is uncertain, and what is still being studied
  • Encourage a long-term, lifestyle-first approach to healthy aging

Supplements, in my view, are tools, not solutions on their own. You will notice when navigating the site and our products that we do not use flashy labels or shiny banners.

My Approach to Content & Research

Everything I publish or oversee follows a consistent framework:

  1. People-first, not SEO-first
  2. Clear distinction between research findings and proven outcomes
  3. Conservative interpretation of early or emerging data
  4. Explicit discussion of limitations, safety considerations, and regulatory context
  5. No medical claims or treatment advice

Where appropriate, I reference:

  1. Peer-reviewed research
  2. Regulatory guidance
  3. Manufacturing and quality-control standards

I also believe it’s important to say “we don’t know yet” when the science isn’t settled.

YouTube & Educational Work

I regularly publish educational longevity content on YouTube, where I discuss:

  • Longevity research and emerging studies
  • Supplements such as NMN and related compounds
  • Mechanisms of aging explained in plain English
  • Regulatory and safety considerations
  • Practical lifestyle foundations for long-term health

This content forms part of my real-world experience in communicating longevity science and engaging with a broader audience beyond this website.
