How NMN works
NAD+ is a coenzyme present in every cell in the body, essential for energy metabolism, DNA repair, and the activation of sirtuins — proteins linked to cellular longevity. NMN is the most direct dietary precursor to NAD+, meaning the body converts it into NAD+ more efficiently than other precursors such as NR or niacin. Human clinical studies confirm that NMN supplementation increases NAD+ levels measurably at doses of 250–900mg daily, with effects detectable within weeks.

Which product is right for you
If you are new to NMN, start with Pure NMN 500mg for two months before adding anything else. This gives you a clean baseline to assess your response before layering in additional compounds.
- Pure NMN 500mg — one capsule daily, 500mg NMN, two-month supply. Best for first-time users, those who prefer single-ingredient supplements, or anyone who takes resveratrol separately.
- NMN Complex — 500mg NMN combined with TMG, resveratrol, pterostilbene, quercetin, and vitamin B12. Three capsules daily. Best for those who want a complete formula in one product.
- Longevity Essentials Bundle — Pure NMN 500mg and Resveratrol 150mg kept separate for flexible dosing. Saves £8 versus buying individually.
- 3-month Pure NMN Bundle — best value for long-term use at £17.50 per month.
Already taking resveratrol separately? Stick with Pure NMN — the Complex would duplicate what you already have.
What to expect
NMN is not a stimulant. Effects are gradual and individual responses vary significantly. Most people who notice changes report subtle improvements in energy levels or recovery after two to six weeks of consistent daily use. Some people notice nothing specific. Allow at least four to six weeks before assessing whether it is working for you.

How to take NMN
- Dose: 500mg daily (one capsule of Pure NMN, or three capsules of NMN Complex)
- Timing: Morning, with or without food. If you practise intermittent fasting, either before your eating window or during it — both approaches have been used in clinical research.
- Missed doses: Miss a day and simply continue as normal. Miss a week and effects may diminish, but resume when you can.
Quality and testing
Every batch in this range is independently third-party tested for purity and identity, manufactured in a GMP-certified UK facility, and supplied with a published Certificate of Analysis. Delayed-release HPMC capsules are used throughout — designed to dissolve in the intestine rather than the stomach, protecting the full dose from gastric acid degradation. All capsules are vegan-friendly.
Store in a cool, dark cupboard away from moisture. Refrigeration is not required. For guidance on maximising shelf life, see how to store NMN supplements.
To understand why independent testing matters, read why we publish every Certificate of Analysis.
NMN and the wider longevity stack
NMN works well alongside other longevity compounds. CoQ10 supports mitochondrial energy production at a complementary point in the same pathway. NAC supports glutathione synthesis and cellular antioxidant defence. For those building a broader stack, the NAD+ booster range and our bundles are worth exploring.

Frequently asked questions
Is NMN safe to take daily?
Human studies confirm NMN is well tolerated in healthy adults at doses up to 900mg daily for periods of up to 12 months. Longer-term safety data is still being gathered. Consult your healthcare provider before starting, particularly if you take medications or have existing health conditions.
What is the difference between Pure NMN and cheaper alternatives?
Purity and evidence. We publish Certificates of Analysis for every batch and manufacture under GMP conditions in the UK. Products priced under £30 frequently contain lower purity material or less NMN than stated on the label. Read our independent UK NMN market review for a detailed comparison.
How long should I take NMN?
NAD+ decline is ongoing, so most people take NMN as a long-term supplement rather than a short course. There is no evidence that cycling on and off is necessary, though some people choose to do so. See our guide on NMN cycling for the detail on this.
Can I take NMN with other supplements?
Generally yes. NMN combines well with resveratrol, CoQ10, TMG, and NAC. Consult your healthcare provider if you take prescription medications, as interactions have not been formally studied.
Does NMN have any side effects?
NMN is well tolerated in the research to date. Some people report mild nausea when taking it on an empty stomach, which typically resolves by taking it with food. For a full evidence-based overview, read our complete NMN side effects guide.
Is NMN legal in the UK?
Yes. NMN is classified as a novel food in the UK and is available for purchase whilst under regulatory review. For the full picture on UK regulations, read UK NMN regulations: what you need to know.
These are food supplements, not medicines. Consult your healthcare provider before use if you have a medical condition or take prescription medications.
